Here’s what’s happening - in 2021, two operators ( N5HA, Kenneth Bailey & W9AV, Clint Sprott ) managed to work at least 1 park every UTC day. My goal for 2022 is to do the same, and to try and write a short post about the day’s first contact. If you want to play along, feel free - I’ll be sharing updates about it during the monthly POTA updates that I prepare for the various ham radio media outlets.

Bailey-Sprott Challenge Update
BOOM! One month offically in the bag, hunting a park every day. Only 11 more to go:-) Today’s first QSO was James, AB9JT. while he was activating K-4187. James is sneaking up on his 100 activations mark, so at this point he’s got some good activator experience under his belt - I suspect we’ve got him hooked on POTA by this point. Thanks James, for being my first QSO on the last day of my first full month of hunting a park every day!
