Here’s what’s happening - in 2021, two operators (N5HA, Kenneth Bailey & W9AV, Clint Sprott) managed to work at least 1 park every UTC day. My goal for 2022 is to do the same, and to try and write a short post about the day’s first contact. If you want to play along, feel free - I’ll be sharing updates about it during the monthly POTA updates that I prepare for the various ham radio media outlets.
now that you’re in the know about the Baily-Sprott Challenge, here’s the scoop for today:
Bailey-Sprott Challenge Update
For the very last day of my birthday month, the first QSO was once again James, KE8PZN who was doing his final activations before heading home from Florida. I don’t know if K-6327 was the very last park he did down there, but it was one of the last for sure, so I was glad to catch him before he headed back north.
P.S. Don’t forget to check out James on YouTube - he has a fairly new channel, so head over there and support him - we need to make sure to give all the YouTube POTA crowd as much love as possible!
