It's the end of the minimalist game! Day 31, and these were there 31 things that went. For anyone who doesn't want to to do the math that makes 496 things that I got rid of in January!
If I have learned anything so far, it is that I am apparently a hoarder of hardware, plumbing bits, partial containers of stuff, old broken tools, and boxes from stuff. It's day 29 and I'm still pretty easily finding stuff to send out the door...
Why was I saving this stuff? I guess I thought I might use it. Oh well - as of today it's 28 less things taking up space!
If you're just now stumbling in here - I'll fill you in...
My wife and I have been playing a tidying game called "The minimalist game." We're not really minimalists - we're just normal (mostly) people who, just like many others, have accumulated a lot of stuff. In my case there is all kinds of hardware and nic-nacs that I saved "just in case." To help weed all the stuff out, you being on the 1st of the month by getting rid of 1 thing. On the second, you get rid of 2 things. It's now the 27th, so..... I think I'm running out of stuff to say at the beginning of these posts faster than I am running out of stuff to get rid of....
25 things heading out! The day that's here is 24, so that many things head out the door!
Here's the next 23 items that are headed out in our giant game of tidying that is called "The Minimalist Game."

AuthorMany of you know me from my ham radio hobby. In reality however, we are more than hams. This space is dedicated to things that aren't the norm for my blog - it is a space for random thoughts and opinions about things that are important to me, but have nothing to do with ham radio. If you don't dig it, feel free to click away, but if you do enjoy it, you might get some insight into what makes this ham tick. Archives
